Interview and a contest
Over at Litpark there's an interview with Oronte Churm, the fellow who writes “Dispatches from Adjunct Faculty at a Large State University” for McSweeney's. Along with the post is a contest, deadline March 7, to write your own 75-word nonfiction "truth" in the comments section. Judge is Steve Davenport, Creative Nonfiction Editor of Ninth Letter, four prizes, grand prize is $100. Do it. Do it.

FYI Mark has a friend who's guest editing a short short edition of the Minnesota Review. It's not officially advertised on their website, but anyone who has short shorts may want to send them in. Word on the street.
I've been a baby about posting on this blog for a while. But I wanted to say thanks for introducing me to this column. Whenever I look at McSweeney's lately, I think of that amanda davis? Has anyone read her?
You're welcome, dove. I like his column, too.
Haven't read Amanda Davis but I experience the same thing.
