I remember loving that book, but this trailer has me hard pressed trying to remember why.
I know. B/c of you, this has been on my reading list for years.
It's one of those holy-shit-this-is-amazingly-simple-and-wonderful first books. It's so...to use a critic-type word...effortless. It's still my favorite Chabon probably because of my predilection for first books, but a photo finish second only to Wonder Boys. I'm not crazy about his newer stuff.
And seriously, this trailer is f*&#ing AWFUL.
